Job Cost Planner / Estimator, East Brisbane

Job Description

With a strong pipeline ahead in the region, BESIX Watpac is seeking a Cost Planner / Estimator to join our Qld, NT & NZ Estimating team, preparing and compiling tenders and cost plans for project tenders and delivery.

This role will be responsible for:

• Compiling and preparing tenders and cost plans based on various forms of delivery and contracts.
• Assisting with negotiating tenders, contract terms, and conditions to ensure favourable outcomes and compliance with project requirements.
• Assisting project teams to prepare detailed cost plans for head contract variations and similar claims and assisting with agreement of subcontractor and consultant variations.
• Identifying risks associated with head contract tender documents.
• Reviewing tender documents and correctly allocate the appropriate trade packages for pricing.
• Preparing building quantities in a format that reflects industry practices and trends.
• Collating cost data directly from industry suppliers, subcontractors and completed projects.
