Job Quarry Testing Manager - QLD, Frenchville

Macquarie Geotechnical is a Geotechnical Consulting / Drilling & Construction Materials Testing company working on road, rail and mining infrastructure projects throughout Australia. We maintain a fleet of modern drill rigs, support equipment and tools that are at the forefront of the industry. The Quarry Testing Manager - QLD will lead, develop, manage and execute all aspects of the Construction Materials Testing for quarry clients. You will mentor staff and be required to work in a team environment alongside other employees of Macquarie Geotechnical as well as other MGH companies. Responsibilities include:

• Fully responsible for liaising with Quarry Clients to facilitate and co-ordinate their construction materials testing requirements from enquiry, quoting, testing, reporting and assist with invoicing.

• To supervise and co-ordinate the daily operations for quarry testing and to instruct team members of their daily testing activities.

• Ensure data integrity & validation of all filed & laboratory data. This is a critical part of your role in supporting MGH companies.

• Liaison with Clients to ensure timely submission of deliverables and Client satisfaction

• To ensure testing of soil, rock, concrete and aggregate is completed in accordance with Australian, QLD TMR and other standards as required.

• Prepare Client details, project requirements and submit testing schedules in accordance with the Company’s electronic log in management system.

• To be responsible for the safe working conditions of your team and ensure all the necessary PPE gear is worn both on site and in the laboratory.

To be successful for the position you must have the following experience:

• Cert IV Lab Techniques

• Quarry testing experience

• A current drivers licence

• Ability to work within a team environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
