As the Demi Chef in Events, you will be given the responsibility of supporting our Chef de Cuisine, Jose Soulard, to ensure consistency in high quality product and service standards.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in the day-to-day operation of the Events kitchen team
- Take ownership of your designated workstation
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchen
- Support the Commis' and Apprentice Chefs in our brigade
What are we looking for:
- Experience required in a 5-star environment or large events operation
- Full work rights and flexible availability over a 7-day roster
- Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learning
- Previous experience with quality control in production and preservation
- Ability to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchens
