Kumbartcho is a Flora and Fauna Sanctuary incorporating walking tracks, a public park, BBQ and playground, all of which are open between 7am and 7pm to the public free of charge. (Sorry, no Dogs, Cats, Horses, Bikes, Scooters or Skateboards allowed. ) On site is a Native Plant Nursery open Tue - Fri 9 till 3 and weekends 8 till Noon where plants can be purchased for as little as $2. There is also an Environmental Education Centre open Tue - Fri 10 till 2 with Videos, a Touch and Feel Table, Displays and Arts and Crafts for the littlies (and the littlies at heart). Kumbartcho is operated by Volunteers in partnership with Moreton Bay Regional Council and is on the South Pine river at Eatons Hill, on Brisbane's Northern border. Amenities: Good for kids
