Job Project Manager - HVAC

As a Project Manager - HVAC, you will have a pivotal role in our clients new installations and project delivery. Your responsibilities will include overseeing multiple HVAC projects of small to medium size for our clients esteemed customers. Along with taking ownership of project scheduling, project budgeting, proposal development, material procurement and managing a multidisciplinary team this position requires technical understanding of the commercial or industrial HVAC industry as the projects will include the installation of Air Handling Units, Ducted Splits, Fans, Chillers, Ventilation, VRF systems and other HVAC systems. The job is based out of the Archerfield area but you will be running projects across the greater Brisbane area. Compensation consists of a very attractive salary package ranging between $120k -$150k base plus 11.5% superannuation, Dual Cab Ute, fuel, mobile phone and laptop and you will have the privilege of using the vehicle for personal use. Our clients reputable organization is experiencing growth and has secured new contracts valued at about $6 million to be delivered and hence requires the addition of a highly skilled, professional, and well-presented Project Manager - HVAC to support their expansion plans.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Running and managing small to medium size projects from $100k - $1.5 million.
• Managing up to 6 projects simultaneously.
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and deliver projects according to client specifications.
• Responsible for project forecasting, scheduling, budgeting.
• Ensure all materials are procured ready for installations and to meet project requirements/timelines.
• Liaise with estimating team and contributing to proposal development.
• Conduct handover to client at project completion.
• Manage multidisciplinary team consisting of Site Manager, HVAC Installers, Sub Contractors
• Raise purchase orders as required

Profile

Qualifications and Experience:

• Trade certificate or qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC or Electrical.
• Proven track record in delivering commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects and running multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience working to best practices and country standards.
• Solid computer skills - Excel, Word, Project Management software (desirable)
• Artick Licence and restricted electrical ticket would be beneficial but not essential
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
