The Company
This role will be based in Toowoomba, QLD. Our client is a respectable construction company who has an excellent reputation within the industry in Queensland. They have a solid pipeline of projects heading into 2025 and a stable high performing team.
They are well known for the high quality of work they deliver as well as staff retention, job security and work-life balance. They focus on projects within the $5m - $40m category including civil and urban infrastructure.
The Role
Due to ongoing and recent project wins they are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Toowoomba. You’ll play a crucial role in the preparation of tenders and project costings for a range of major construction projects.
The Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, comprehensive documentation to site managers for smooth project kick-offs.
- Support site managers with the financial management of contractor agreements and administration.
- Prepare accurate estimates of quantities and costs for project tenders in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Exposure to large Australian based builders (Tier 1 or 2 preferably)
- Experience on projects valued at $20m and above
- 3+ years’ experience in an Estimating position within the construction industry
