About the Role:
Our dynamic Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service at Jabiru Hendra is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic OSHC Program Educator. In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver enriching activities, fostering a space where children feel safe, included, and excited to learn.
As a Program Educator, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment, building meaningful relationships with children, and working closely with a team of passionate educators. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help make our program diverse, engaging, and fun.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and lead age-appropriate, play-based activities that promote learning and social development.
- Actively supervise children to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality learning experience within the OSHC program.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.

About You:
- A strong commitment to Jabiru’s purpose of supporting children, young people, and families to thrive.
- Minimum 6 months of experience engaging school-age children in play-based activities (desirable).
- Qualified or enrolled into a Certificate III in Education or Childcare or Diploma or Higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Humanities, Allied Health, Sport or similar.
- Current First Aid, CPR & Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development in a nurturing and engaging way.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
