They have a diverse project portfolio consisting of Industrial, residential, aged care and commercial as well as a Civil contracting business. Our customer generates a steady revenue stream that currently sits at just over $100m per annum in QLD and more in Victoria.

The company originates from Victoria, but they have an established team based in Brisbane with some exciting growth planned for the QLD division. Due to this forecast growth, they are looking to add a new Project Manager to join the team in Brisbane.

The Role

As the Project Manager, you will report to the QLD General Manager and be responsible for managing a circa $40m D&C residential building project on the north side of Brisbane. You will work closely with the Site Manager on Design issues and remedies, manage the financial and contractual obligations both upstream and down and drive a positive team culture that is fine tuned for success. You will adopt a collaborative approach with all stakeholders and look to create win/win outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate will come from a Tier 2 Principal Building Contractor and will have 3-5 years + experience as a Project Manager as well as proven experience successfully delivering a similar scope of work. You will be confident operating autonomously, demonstrate the initiative, energy, and integrity to want to develop your career in a supportive and fun environment.

You must have extensive experience in Australia and preferably in South East QLD as existing relationships with subcontractors and consultants will be advantageous.
