This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Submissions Coordinator or Marketing Coordinator who is organised and a motivated individual looking to play an integral part in supporting this business in the Pre-Contracts & Business Development team. Our client is a privately Queensland owned civil construction company who work within resources, local authorities and main roads projects across North QLD and remote areas.
We are searching for a Submissions Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years submissions, tender or marketing coordination experience within construction or similar. This individual will be based in their Townsville offices ensuring the smooth operations of the marketing, bids & proposals, managing the coordination and administration while working closely with the Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, fast-paced role and working within the construction industry and wanting to make this role their own.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, responsibilities will include, but not limited to include:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the proposals & tenders
- Act as the central contact for all bid-related, marketing inquiries and communications
- Presentation of tender submissions including layout and delivery of printed or electronic submission
- General database management
- Coordinate the project award submissions and distribution of tender opportunities Manage & update social media platforms – LinkedIn, Website & Facebook
- Liaise with external vendors & outsourced marketing companies
- Data entry for portal folders and client management system
- Additional general administrative duties
The successful individual will be organised, highly motivated and results driven with a proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This person will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flare. Ideally have previous bid & proposal, marketing administration experience within construction. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite i.e Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel. Beneficial to have experience in Adobe InDesign.
