About the role
The Credit Officer will be responsible for overseeing the collection of overdue customer accounts and handling related duties to ensure efficient resolution and adherence to company policies.
- Follow up with customers on overdue accounts
- Respond to general AR and Credit customer phone and email enquiries.
- Monitor and apply credit limits vs usage to ensure customer has insurance in place.
- Credit Card processing
- Action Overpayments/Unapplied weekly reports
About you
- Collection experience is essential, Accounts Receivable experience preferred
- Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft applications; computer savvy with the ability to quickly learn new programs.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as a team player, offering support to others when required.
- Reliable, with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with customers (internal and external) via email and phone, with accounting/bookkeeping qualifications or equivalent experience highly regarded.
