Job Quantity Surveyor

Location: Brisbane, QLD | Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 + Superannuation

An exciting opportunity is available for a Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Brisbane. This role offers exposure to a variety of projects across commercial, residential and government sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy across all stages of a project.

• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and detailed bills of quantities.
• Conduct cost planning and management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform risk analysis, value engineering, and cost-saving strategies.
• Assess progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Assist in contract administration, procurement, and tender evaluations.
• Provide financial reporting and budget forecasts to ensure cost control.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate cost management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a PQS or contractor environment.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software such as CostX, Cubit, or equivalent.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost assessments.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
