Job Estimator / Senior Estimator

My client with a national builder with an excellent reputation in the Queensland and Australia spanning over 35 years of proven success delivering projects up to $30m+, specialising in the commercial project market. After a successful 2024 and gearing up for a busy 2025 and beyond, my client is turning down work as they are too busy! They have a very strong pipeline of work from trusted repeat clients. They are now hiring an experienced Estimator / Senior Estimator due to growth and project wins.

They operate across a range of delivering methods, with D&C being a big focus they are looking for someone with proven experience within the Commercial Construction industry.

Specialising in a diverse range of projects including, industrial, retail, health, government, community, and much more. A diverse range of new build and fit out project experience is advantageous.

Ideal traits the successful candidate will have:

• 4-10+ years of experience in the role
• Leadership - enjoys mentoring and teaching others.
• Excellent ability to build rapport with others.
• Strong past tenure with employers.
• Team player who loves a challenge!
• Positive, "can-do" attitude.

With a strong pipeline of work already under construction and due to company growth, they are looking for an experienced Estimator / Senior Estimator to join the team in their Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a leader, self-motivated, confident, honest, reliable, and looking to grow their career to step into this role.

Your Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, Quantity Surveying or equivalent are preferred
• Excellent communication & relationship building skills with various stakeholders (clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors etc.)
• Local experience and relationships with consultants and subcontractors
• Ideally 5-10 years + industry experience running your own projects between $5m - $50m+
